The Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa has one of the most unique locations among San Diego hotels, nestled just steps from the relaxing, quiet strip of beach along Mission Bay and across the street from sun-splashed Pacific Beach. This tropical paradise provides a scene right out of the Hawaiian Islands with countless palm trees, bamboo, Tiki torches, koi ponds, a waterfall, and exotic birds who like to strike up conversations with guests.
Located less than 7 miles from San Diego International Airport, all of the resort’ s rooms have a private balcony or patio, with Bayfront rooms and suites just steps away from the beach. Catamaran’ s 14 function rooms provide an invigorating setting for any group and are sure to inspire productivity, creativity, and team-building fun.
In addition to classroom and theater configurations in traditional meeting spaces, a true Southern California experience can be enjoyed on the Mission Bay shoreline with water sports activities, barbecues, luaus, and clambakes. With more than 15,000 square feet of versatile function space, the Catamaran can accommodate meetings of up to 425 guests. Unique to San Diego, the Catamaran has a Mississippi-style sternwheeler boat called the William D. Evans. The William D. Evans is equipped to host 450 guests and provides all the modern amenities while maintaining 19th-century grace and charm.
